This 2021 Milonga Custom schooner motor-sailor for sale is an expeditionary sail-motor schooner with a modern version of luger sailing armament. The 14,9-meter vessel is designed for operation in all weather conditions, up to high-latitude expeditions, as well as in hot and tropical climates. The project was developed by the St. Petersburg Russia firm AMETA in 2020. The Milonga schooner is the second in the series, built and modified taking into account the operational experience of the lead vessel. The yacht has passed full-scale tests, having sailed several thousand miles around Europe, successfully confirming all the goals and qualities laid down in the project.
Sailing armament is easy to operate, reliable due to the minimization of details, very cost-effective in the process of operation. The main engine and the propulsion system are designed in such a way that they allow the vessel to overcome the most adverse weather conditions without any problems. The hydraulic steering device is made on the basis of a hydraulic pump and a commercial-class hydraulic cylinder from Vetus, has the appropriate resource and power, contains a high-performance electro-hydraulic autopilot pump with a large margin in performance.
The schooner's hull is divided by watertight bulkheads into four compartments. The first of them, the forepeak, is specially equipped for storing ship supplies, an inflatable boat, an outboard motor, folding bicycles, and is separated from the next compartment by a ram bulkhead. The second compartment consists of three double crew cabins. The two cabins in the front are separated by a longitudinal bulkhead and are equipped with separate bunks for comfortable rest, ventilated cabinets, lockers, 220 volt sockets, USB ports for charging mobile devices, red and white LED lights and night lights at the head. The third master cabin is equipped with a double bed, wardrobes and comfortable shelves and lockers, as well as equipped with all the necessary equipment for a comfortable stay. To the right of the master cabin there is a bathroom equipped with a ceramic sink for washing, a sitting bath that allows you to take a shower in pitching conditions, an electric pumping toilet and a hygienic shower. All faucets are equipped with thermostats. The faucets of the washbasins are equipped with photocells that allow for reasonable water consumption only at the time of use. Two forward cabins and a master cabin with a bathroom are separated by port and starboard cupboards, which, among other things, house a 140-litre ship freezer by Dometic, a washing and drying machine for 7 kg of LG laundry and one of two marine air conditioners by Webasto.
